Maintenance Supervisor – Aven Ridge Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Aven Ridge community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas are maintained to Greystar’s high standards of cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities to keep the property operating smoothly for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering and final quality checks.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or residential maintenance and supervision.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling work, managing inventories and coordinating vendors.
• Attention to detail when inspecting work and ensuring compliance with standards.
