About the role
30hop Restaurant in Coralville, IA is seeking enthusiastic line cooks for both full‑time and part‑time shifts. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, preparing a variety of American dishes while supporting a collaborative team focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and stock food items and necessary supplies for service.
- Prepare ingredients by cutting, chopping, mixing, and making sauces.
- Cook menu items using grilling, frying, sautéing and other methods according to recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food sanitation standards, including proper storage.
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of each shift.
- Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs.
- Communicate clearly with chefs and management on the line.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum six months of line‑cook experience preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 lb.
- Strong communication skills.
Required skills
- Knife handling and basic food preparation.
- Grilling, frying and sautéing techniques.
- Food safety and sanitation compliance.
