About the role

Greystar is seeking an on‑site Leasing Professional to support upcoming projects in the Fort Wayne, IN area. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through comprehensive leasing and marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals through proactive leasing activities.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Awareness of local market trends and competitor activity.
• Capability to design and implement effective marketing programs.
