Leasing Professional – Cottage Style Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Abrazo Rice Hope community, a 359‑unit cottage‑style property in the lease‑up stage. The role works Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm, with rotating weekend coverage, and focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Lead lease file audits and inspect apartments before resident occupancy.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Ability to lead lease file audits and ensure apartments are move‑in ready.
• Stay informed about current market conditions that affect occupancy.
• Design and implement marketing initiatives to drive traffic and referrals.
• Use property management software to capture and analyze resident data.
