About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for its Charlottesville community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through proactive leasing and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, touring the community, and processing applications.
• Perform credit screenings, criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show units and community standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple leasing tasks efficiently.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
