Leasing Professional for Cobalt Ridge Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Cobalt Ridge community in Charlottesville. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention targets through proactive leasing and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show unit standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Experience in residential leasing and sales.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market conditions.
• Ability to manage multiple leasing activities and maintain accurate records.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management software.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
