Leasing Consultant – Overture Greenville

About the role

The Leasing / Sales Consultant is responsible for executing the property’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role serves as a key point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with professionalism and a deep understanding of the community’s lifestyle offering.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and ensuring smooth move‑ins.
• Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and analyze resident data.
• Maintain show units to company standards, inspecting daily and coordinating maintenance as needed.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease decisions.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal packages, contacting residents early, and ensuring timely sign‑offs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet, or customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for legal documents, sales presentations, and resident interactions.
• Mathematical ability to process sales conversions and financial records.
• Proven sales skills including lead generation, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.

Required skills

• All licenses and certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, property management applications, and database management programs.
• Fluency in using the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales activities.
• Ability to adapt sales messaging to specific market conditions.
