Lease Up Service Technician – Medallion Park

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Lease Up Service Technician to support the Medallion Park community in Glen Allen. You will ensure apartments and common areas are ready for new residents and maintain the property’s overall appearance, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety activities.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a variety of technical and mechanical tasks in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of work.
• Commitment to safety standards and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Organizational skills for managing work orders, inventory, and vendor coordination.
