Lead Solution Architect – Oracle EPM (Cloud & On-Prem)

About the role

Mastercard’s Global Business Solution Center is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to define and drive the Oracle EPM architecture strategy across both on‑premise and cloud environments. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and automated financial planning and reporting solutions that support Mastercard’s worldwide operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the architectural lead for Oracle EPM solutions, including FCCS, PBCS/EPBCS, ARCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, and Hyperion (HFM, Planning, Essbase) on‑premise.
• Define end‑to‑end Oracle EPM architecture covering finance close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and master data management.
• Design hybrid architectures that integrate Oracle Cloud EPM with on‑prem Hyperion, Oracle ERP Cloud, data warehouses, and source systems.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including Hyperion‑to‑Oracle Cloud transitions and coexistence strategies.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and performance guidelines.
• Provide solution leadership for EPM data integrations using Data Management, EPM Automate, REST APIs, ODI, and custom frameworks.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Technology leaders to translate business requirements into scalable designs.
• Conduct design reviews, resolve complex architectural issues, and ensure solution quality and auditability.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and analytical professional with a passion for reliability, scalability, and automation.
• Proven experience leading architecture for large‑scale Oracle EPM implementations.
• Strong ability to partner with finance and technology stakeholders.
• Experience guiding teams through cloud migration and hybrid integration projects.
