About the role
Madison-Davis is looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist to keep our New York City and Elmsford offices running smoothly. You will provide day‑to‑day technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with onboarding and hardware setup for employees.
Key responsibilities
- Set up laptops, monitors, phones, and workstations for new hires and existing staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, printer, and connectivity problems.
- Provide technical support across multiple office locations, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, VPN access, and password resets.
- Manage IT inventory, track laptops, accessories, and office equipment.
- Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding technology processes.
- Support conference‑room technology and meeting setups.
- Assist leadership with technology improvements and office infrastructure.
- Provide basic Salesforce support and system maintenance as training progresses.
Required profile
- 1+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels.
- Comfortable troubleshooting both hardware and software independently.
- Willingness to travel between NYC and Elmsford offices weekly.
- Interest in learning Salesforce and growing into systems administration.
