Investment Banking Associate – Healthcare Services & Technology

About the role

Jefferies Global Healthcare Group is seeking a motivated Investment Banking Associate to support its Healthcare Services and Technology team. The associate will work closely with senior bankers on a variety of transactions, helping to deliver advisory and capital‑markets solutions for clients across the healthcare ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of sell‑side and buy‑side M&A, equity and debt financings, restructuring and strategic advisory assignments.
• Perform financial valuations, including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comparable companies and pro‑forma merger analyses.
• Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management and lender presentations, and prospectuses.
• Conduct due‑diligence, build detailed operating and valuation models, and research industry and product trends.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and cross‑functional partners such as ECM, Leveraged Finance, Private Capital Advisory, and Restructuring teams.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to relationship development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare investment banking, preferably covering services, technology, or medical‑technology sectors.
• Detail‑oriented with strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
• Resourceful self‑starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Currently based in New York or willing to relocate.
