Intermediate Architect – Classical Residential

About the role

A distinguished New York‑based architecture and design firm is looking for an Intermediate Architect to contribute to its portfolio of sophisticated modern homes. The role involves working on custom townhouses, waterfront residences, and estate homes that blend architectural tradition with contemporary design.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concepts through detailed design and produce high‑quality construction documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases.
• Attend jobsite meetings, issue supplemental instructions, and respond to RFIs.
• Prepare drawings, models, and presentation materials for client and agency reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in architecture.
• Experience on high‑end residential projects in New York and the Hamptons is a strong advantage.
• Strong design sensibility, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with Lumion (plus) and SketchUp (plus).
