Independent Field Inspector – Property Inspections

About the role

Seek Now is looking for independent 1099 Field Inspectors to conduct accurate, impartial property inspections for insurance, facility management and real‑estate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Access and inspect steep or high roofs, lift, carry and set up ladders and equipment up to 100 lb.
• Sketch, measure and document roof or room components using proprietary mobile software.
• Travel to disaster‑affected areas for assignments lasting 2‑6 weeks, with lodging provided.
• Cover a 100‑mile radius around your home market and handle short‑notice assignments.

Required profile

• Clean, reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32‑ft ladder.
• Operational laptop and smartphone with ability to use Microsoft Office and proprietary inspection app.
• Valid driver’s license, state‑issued workers’ compensation, general liability insurance, and LLC documentation.
• Ability to obtain HAAG certification within 90 days.

Required skills

• Use of 3D cameras, drones, and moisture meters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary inspection software on a laptop and smartphone.
