House Manager & Family Assistant – Meal Prep & Light Childcare

About the role

We are seeking a proactive House Manager & Family Assistant to support our busy Phoenix household. The role combines meal planning, light childcare, and overall home organization, allowing the parents to focus on work and family time.

Key responsibilities

• Afternoon school pickups, after‑school supervision, homework support, and occasional date‑night childcare.
• Plan and prepare 3–4 family meals per week, handle grocery shopping (online and in‑person) and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Create and maintain organization systems throughout the home, including pantry, spice, and artwork storage.
• Manage laundry, ironing, linen rotation, and keep the laundry area tidy.
• Restock pantry, handle household errands, manage subscriptions and returns, and coordinate gift purchases.
• Walk the family dog daily, schedule grooming and vet visits, and maintain pet supplies.
• Oversee vehicle upkeep, schedule maintenance, fueling, and cleaning.
• Coordinate vendors for home repairs, manage outdoor spaces, and support event planning.

Required profile

• Warm, proactive, and intuitive with high emotional intelligence; able to read the household rhythm.
• Patient and experienced with school‑age children (5‑7 years), able to set gentle boundaries and encourage independence.
• Comfortable caring for a dog, including daily walks and grooming coordination.
• Excellent time‑management, ownership of tasks, and clear communication with parents.
• Reliable transportation and ability to use the family vehicle for work‑related tasks.
