Hourly Custodial Assistant

About the role

The Institutional Services Assistant provides general cleaning and maintenance support across campus facilities, including classrooms, auditoriums, residence halls, and dining areas. This is a flexible‑hour, temporary position within the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of office buildings, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, resident halls, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Assist the event manager with setup and cleanup for scheduled events.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in all assigned areas and report any issues.
• Adapt work schedule to meet the needs of the campus and event calendar.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings for events.
• Temporary (fixed‑term) employment status.

• Hourly wage ranging from $13.00 to $14.00, commensurate with experience.
