About the role

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Medical Director to lead the hospitalist program at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, California. This full‑time clinical and administrative position combines direct patient care with program leadership, leveraging Epic EMR and strong support from the ICU, ED, and specialty services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality hospitalist care to patients across the facility.
• Lead and manage the hospitalist team, including staffing, scheduling, and performance oversight.
• Collaborate with ICU, Emergency Department, and specialty services to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in administrative duties such as budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning.
