Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer with solid experience in HVAC design for the U.S. construction market. The position is fully remote, requiring collaboration with a distributed team during EST business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret HVAC design drawings and schematics.
• Draft and calculate detailed plumbing and HVAC plans according to project specifications.
• Develop 3D models of HVAC systems using industry‑standard software.
• Manage client‑provided file formats and ensure timely delivery of project documentation.
• Apply U.S. building codes and standards to all design work.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in HVAC design.
• Advanced spoken English proficiency.
• Ability to work remotely and be available Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm EST.
• Portfolio of previous projects and a voice note for screening.

Required skills

• HVAC system design and drafting.
• Thermal load calculation software (HAP 4.9+, Trace 700, DesignBuilder).
• VRF software from any manufacturer.
• Navisworks for project coordination.
• AutoCAD, Revit, and related 3D HVAC design tools.
• BIM modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of U.S. HVAC codes and standards.
