About the role
This Graduate Assistant position supports laboratory and research activities within the School of Public and Allied Health. It is designed for a full‑time graduate student who will assist faculty and staff while gaining practical research experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the computer lab and maintain research equipment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data for ongoing research projects.
- Prepare reports, manuscripts, presentations, and conference materials.
- Develop and maintain research databases and study protocols.
- Monitor academic literature and summarize findings.
- Attend conferences and meetings to present research results.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Enrolled as a full‑time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University (minimum 9 credit hours fall/spring, 6 credit hours summer) and in good academic standing.
