Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

Cogent Security is building an AI‑driven cyber taskforce that uses autonomous agents to protect enterprise environments. As a Fullstack Software Engineer you will help create the next generation of AI‑powered security tools and interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product end‑to‑end, shaping technical roadmap and product strategy with high autonomy.
• Design and implement AI‑driven experiences on Cogent’s multi‑tenant cloud and single‑tenant enterprise platform, including a customer portal, knowledge engine, labeling tool and external dashboard.
• Build intuitive, generative UI components that make advanced AI capabilities accessible to security teams.
• Foster a strong engineering culture by onboarding new hires, participating in interview processes, and driving engineering, operational and recruiting excellence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience across the full software stack, leading development of scalable, high‑quality applications.
• Deep expertise in backend systems—microservices, APIs and databases—for modern web applications.
• Strong frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, TypeScript).
• Proficiency in API design (RESTful, GraphQL, gRPC) and integration with internal and external services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Solid background in Agile development practices, including code reviews, sprint planning and cross‑functional collaboration.
