Full Stack Software Engineer – Climate Finance Platform

About the role

This is the first dedicated software engineering hire on the platform. You will work directly with the founder and a small group of collaborators, with real ownership over what gets built and how. The codebase is early enough that you can shape it, and the product is real enough that what you ship gets used the same week by our funding team and our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship product features across the frontend and backend
• Improve the internal workflow tool and the client‑facing portal
• Contribute to AI‑assisted features for solicitation analysis, document workflows, and drafting support
• Fix bugs and improve reliability as usage grows
• Work closely with the founder and other collaborators to turn ideas into shipped functionality
• Support related automation work across operational and business development functions

Required profile

• Strong proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot) used daily
• Solid experience building and shipping production web applications
• Strong TypeScript and React skills, comfortable working across the stack
• Good product instincts and ability to take a feature from idea to implementation with minimal oversight
• Care for code quality alongside speed of delivery
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a fast‑paced startup environment
