Full Stack Engineer

About the role

MDG Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build and maintain web applications and content-managed sites that power the digital presence of multi-location businesses. The role works across the entire technology stack, from responsive front-end interfaces to back-end services, databases and infrastructure, both on internal platforms and client environments. AI-assisted development tools are an integral part of the workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack web applications and CMS-driven websites.
• Implement server-side logic, RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services with a focus on security and data integrity.
• Write and maintain automated tests, conduct code reviews and keep documentation up to date.
• Modernize and support both MDG-owned platforms and client-owned environments across diverse technology stacks.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery while critically reviewing and refining all output.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional software development experience; senior-level experience is a plus.
• Strong ownership mindset, responsiveness and clear communication.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (remote on Mondays and Fridays, onsite Tuesday-Thursday in Boca Raton).

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a modern front-end framework.
• Server-side development with PHP; experience with Laravel is advantageous.
• Object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns.
• Relational databases and RESTful API design.
• Git version control and automated testing.
• Secure coding practices.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude suite or comparable products.
