Full Stack Engineer – Immersive Experiences

About the role

Midnight Mansion is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop software for its flagship immersive venue, Edge of Elsewhere. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on creating interactive, location‑based experiences that blend technology, mechanics, lighting, and sound.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user‑friendly front‑end systems using modern web technologies.
• Develop and maintain distributed and concurrent back‑end services.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to prototype and test puzzles, props, and public interactions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to commute to the studio in Needham, MA (periodic work in Somerville, MA).
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
• Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for location‑based entertainment.
