Founding Software Engineer

About the role

A well-funded, seed-stage B2B SaaS startup in the supply chain integrations space is looking for a Founding Software Engineer to help shape the architecture, culture, and product direction of an agentic integrations platform. This is a high‑ownership role where you'll work across the full stack and have a direct impact on the company's trajectory from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve the integrations platform—including mapping, testing, retries, queues, observability, and the full infrastructure layer.
• Work across the entire stack: frontend (TypeScript, React), backend (Node.js), infrastructure (AWS), and LLM/agentic workflows.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, from initial specs through implementation to measurable customer impact.
• Help define product direction, engineering culture, and company‑building decisions as an early team member.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in fast‑paced startup environments.
• Demonstrated experience building products 0→1, either at an early‑stage startup or through serious side projects.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend, and Node.js for backend.
• Experience integrating or building workflows around large language models (LLMs) and agent‑based platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS for cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL for data storage.
• Experience owning end‑to‑end feature development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and reliable retry/queuing patterns in distributed systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.

What we offer

• Salary range $130,000 – $200,000 USD annually.
• Visa sponsorship available.
