Finance Analyst

About the role

SimplePractice is looking for a detail‑oriented, organized self‑starter to join its Finance team as a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Finance, you will own budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support key product decisions and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and build models for decision support.
• Prepare board presentations and monthly financial reports.
• Gather and analyze financial information from various departments.
• Partner with accounting on variance analysis and reporting.
• Provide insights and recommendations to business unit leads.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses such as product profitability, CAC, LTV, and marketing funnel metrics.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and ongoing analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
