Emergency Medicine Physician – Level II Trauma Center

About the role

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Level II Trauma Center in Tyler, Texas. The position involves delivering acute care in a high‑volume emergency department (approximately 80,000 visits per year) and rotating among several CHRISTUS Mother Frances emergency departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages.
• Manage trauma cases in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
• Document patient encounters using the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple hospital sites.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and departmental education.

Required profile

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• Experience or interest in emergency medicine and trauma care.
• Willingness to rotate among various CHRISTUS Mother Frances emergency departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Epic EMR system.
