Division Controller

About the role

The Division Controller will act as the financial anchor for West Techs' Dallas division, reporting directly to the Executive Controller/CFO. This senior, on‑site position supports a service‑oriented, project‑driven business and offers a clear path for growth within a rapidly expanding company.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the executive team to deliver accurate divisional financial results and align with corporate fiscal goals.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including real‑time job costing, labor efficiency tracking, margin analysis, AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead and mentor two direct reports, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence.
• Design and maintain internal controls and financial procedures to protect assets and streamline workflows.
• Serve as primary contact for annual audits and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with the Division President and operations teams.
• Own or support ERP workflow enhancements to improve financial reporting.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated finance professional with strong autonomy and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in a controller or senior accounting role within a multi‑cost‑center environment.
• Excellent communication skills for executive interaction and team leadership.
