About the role
OEG is seeking a Dispatcher to join its Cargo Logistics Division in Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The role focuses on coordinating the scheduling, tracking, and delivery of Cargo Carrying Units (CCU) to customer sites while ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent service.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update the overall CCU inventory and GPS tracking units.
- Ensure sling system compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Act as the primary customer contact for delivery schedules, order status, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate all trucking, yard movements, and workflow according to customer and management needs.
- Maintain up‑to‑date shipping records, certifications, and paperwork for CCU movements.
- Provide technical training to production tech team members.
- Report system discrepancies and suggest improvements.
- Follow ISO 9001 requirements and company operating procedures.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of experience as a product assembly or repair technician, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of rental equipment and logistics processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
