Director of Supplier Management

About the role

Chadwell Supply is seeking a Director of Supplier Management to lead its Product and OS&D teams. This senior position oversees supplier negotiations, product quality, and strategic alliances while ensuring optimal fill‑rates and lead times for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Product and OS&D teams to achieve performance targets.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, delivery schedules, and quantities.
• Maintain product quality and develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers meet fill‑rate goals and minimize lead times.
• Oversee overall product management, including development, pricing, planning, inventory control, and financial strategy.
• Manage and mentor Category Managers, handling recruitment, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align supplier capabilities with customer demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred or at least 5 years of experience in a similar senior procurement role.
• Proven experience with automated buying systems and established purchasing methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in planning, executing, and managing large‑scale projects.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical ability to drive profitable fulfillment.
• Excellent time‑management, negotiation, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
