Director of Quality and Training

About the role

The Director of Quality and Training will lead the training and professional development functions for Faena New York, ensuring consistent, high-quality guest experiences across all hotel operations. This senior role is responsible for designing, delivering and measuring training programs that support the brand’s luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve training programs and standards manuals for all departments.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff on luxury hospitality standards, policies, health and safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with department heads to review performance trends, create action plans, and respond to guest feedback.
• Maintain training calendars, produce regular activity reports, and track training effectiveness.
• Oversee quality control initiatives, audits, and evaluations to ensure service excellence.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on training progress and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing training and quality programs in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong ability to develop curriculum, facilitate sessions, and assess training impact.
• Excellent collaboration skills with department managers and senior leadership.
