Director of Physician Recruiting (Remote)

About the role

The Medicus Firm, a leading national healthcare recruitment firm, is seeking a Director of Physician Recruiting to lead remote talent acquisition efforts for physicians across the United States. You will act as a trusted advisor to both physician candidates and healthcare client organizations, driving successful placements and fostering long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Advise physician candidates and client hospitals throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Source, screen, and build rapport with physicians via phone and email.
• Highlight opportunity features, quote salaries, and prepare candidates for interviews.
• Present opportunity details, answer candidate questions, and manage physician marketing campaigns.
• Oversee the full recruiting process, ensuring timely communication and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve client concerns, providing consultative recommendations.
• Maintain consistent feedback loops and detailed reports for all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven sales background (inside, outside, B2B, or cold calling).
• Consultative sales experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
