Director, Investment Management, Residential

About the role

Invesco Real Estate is seeking a Director to lead its residential asset management team. You will own the full investment lifecycle, from underwriting new acquisitions and conducting diligence, to overseeing third‑party managers, executing business plans, and delivering hold‑sell analyses for the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive investment strategy, value creation, and outperformance across the residential portfolio.
• Lead underwriting, due‑diligence, and acquisition processes for new assets.
• Collaborate with third‑party management companies to implement and monitor business plans.
• Perform hold‑sell analyses and provide market intelligence to senior leadership.
• Enhance investment processes and mentor junior team members.
• Represent Invesco as the market expert in residential real estate.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential real‑estate investment management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities combined with high emotional intelligence.
• Demonstrated work ethic, creativity, and proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to develop and coach junior professionals.
• Excellent communication skills for senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
