Director, Cross-Border Business Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead cross‑border business development for its partnership with Corpay XB in the North America region. The role sits at the intersection of sales, product management, and customer engagement, driving the commercial success of the referral agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and articulate Corpay’s cross‑border B2B payments value proposition and product solutions.
• Collaborate with regional CNPF, Transfer Solutions leads, and divisional presidents to build a tiered target list of financial institutions (FIs) for referrals.
• Maintain awareness of Mastercard Move product roadmap and identify complementary sales opportunities.
• Develop relationships with Mastercard Account Management teams to ensure systematic referral execution and escalation when needed.
• Own end‑to‑end pipeline management, reporting monthly FI sales pipeline and client activity at regional and global levels.
• Participate in meetings with account managers and FIs to support the referral process and drive deal closure.

Required profile

• Sales‑driven professional with deep understanding of local market dynamics and FI customer needs.
• Experience in payments, B2B products, and cross‑border transaction services.
• Proven ability to work closely with account management, product, and transfer solutions teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across regional and global leadership.
