DevOps Engineer – Cloud Native & Kubernetes (GCP)

About the role

Valorem Reply is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale cloud‑native infrastructure for enterprise‑grade applications. You will own Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Google Cloud Platform operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate production‑grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and maintain secure, repeatable CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and manage Istio service‑mesh architectures.
• Administer and optimise Google Cloud Platform resources.
• Integrate Jira workflows into development and release processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce infrastructure‑as‑code and automation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on production Kubernetes administration.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid background with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience implementing and managing Istio service mesh.
• Familiarity with Jira for engineering workflow management.
