Data Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a data operations expert, or a fast‑rising generalist, to help drive data generation initiatives at Chai Discovery. The role requires urgency, strong communication and project‑management skills, and an analytical mindset. You will set the vision and execute scaling of Chai’s lab‑in‑the‑loop data platform, collaborating closely with science and research teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and drive complex projects and workflows across multi‑party relationships.
• Translate research goals into concrete deliverables such as experiments, success criteria, statements of work, timelines, and trackers.
• Communicate highly technical information with clarity to diverse stakeholders.
• Juggle concurrent projects and priorities, adapting quickly while keeping everyone in sync.
• Develop a vision for scaling the data program by orders of magnitude.

Required profile

• A deep desire to push the limits of what’s possible and a restless drive to solve real‑world problems.
• Experience in startups or other intense environments.
• Organized, scrappy, and detail‑oriented.
• Flexible, proactive, and ambitious.
