Cross Country Coach - Extra Help

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a part‑time Cross Country Coach to support both the men’s and women’s teams. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides hands‑on coaching, travel coordination, and on‑site support for cross‑country meets.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor male and female cross‑country athletes.
• Plan and conduct daily training sessions.
• Organize travel logistics and accompany teams to regional and conference meets.
• Monitor athlete progress and maintain training records.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and compliance staff on scheduling and eligibility matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Passion for collegiate athletics and student development.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during competition season.
