About the role
The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a part‑time Cross Country Coach to support both the men’s and women’s teams. This temporary position involves guiding athletes through training, competition preparation, and travel to meets.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily cross‑country training sessions for student‑athletes.
- Organize travel logistics and accompany teams to regional and conference meets.
- Monitor athlete performance, provide feedback, and adjust training plans as needed.
- Maintain compliance with university athletics policies and safety standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (any field).
- Experience coaching or assisting with cross‑country or distance running programs.
- Ability to work with collegiate athletes and support their academic and athletic balance.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly compensation of $15.00.
- Opportunity to work on a scenic campus in southeastern Arkansas.
- Experience coaching at the collegiate level with travel to competitive events.
