About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a part‑time Cross Country Coach to support both the men’s and women’s teams. This temporary position involves guiding athletes through training, competition preparation, and travel to meets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily cross‑country training sessions for student‑athletes.
• Organize travel logistics and accompany teams to regional and conference meets.
• Monitor athlete performance, provide feedback, and adjust training plans as needed.
• Maintain compliance with university athletics policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field).
• Experience coaching or assisting with cross‑country or distance running programs.
• Ability to work with collegiate athletes and support their academic and athletic balance.
