Credit Analyst – Hybrid (Richmond, VA)

About the role

The Credit Analyst will safeguard Alfa Laval’s financial health by managing customer accounts, establishing credit lines, and resolving overdue balances while delivering a positive customer experience. This hybrid position is based in Richmond, VA and supports multiple business units across a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure local credit policy compliance and contribute to policy improvements.
• Conduct credit investigations and evaluate customer creditworthiness.
• Perform collection activities to keep overdue balances low.
• Monitor credit accounts to quickly identify and address problem debts.
• Collaborate with finance teams, shared service centers, and sales departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of credit and collection experience in a complex global organization.
• Strong analytical judgment and commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work with all management levels and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Get Paid (online collections tool).
• HighRadius (online collections tool).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Accounts receivable sub‑ledger knowledge.
