Construction Superintendent Trainee – San Antonio

About the role

Drees Homes is seeking a Construction Superintendent Trainee to join its San Antonio Division. You will work alongside an experienced Construction Superintendent, gaining hands‑on exposure to every phase of home building from plan signing through the first‑year warranty.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee progress and quality of all jobs under construction.
• Set and maintain high performance standards for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Control costs by managing material usage.
• Answer customer questions about the building process proactively.
• Participate in subdivision and model maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety requirements.
• Create framing, mechanical, and insulation punch lists.
• Utilize internal software/systems to track job progress.
