Construction Project Coordinator

About the role

As a Construction Project Coordinator at Tesla, you will manage the administrative and coordination aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring timely completion and smooth communication between engineering, construction, and field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and distribute communications and reporting for the construction team.
• Act as liaison between Engineering Program Managers, Construction Managers, and Superintendents.
• Create and track workflows, including submittals, work approvals, and RFIs.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and schedules, highlighting risks to managers.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation of vendors and contractors.
• Review project schedules for accuracy and verify field updates and construction metrics.
• Create tracking profiles in BIM software and monitor field construction activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Highly organized with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, handling confidential information.
• Ability to adapt to fast‑paced, last‑minute changes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Primavera scheduling software.
• Knowledge of BIM software for tracking construction activities.
• Working knowledge of MEP dense infrastructure design.
