Community Manager - Maris

About the role

The Community Manager – Maris will oversee the daily operations of an assigned property within Greystar’s portfolio. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
• Assist in budget development by reviewing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, renewals, discounts, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions and collect late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management within multi‑family housing.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and related regulations.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial and market data.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and internal teams.
