Commercial Excellence Specialist

About the role

As a Commercial Excellence Specialist at 3m, you will partner with sales, marketing, pricing and IT teams to turn data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth. You will work with global 3Mers, leveraging advanced analytics to improve sales performance, reduce churn and uncover cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, churn indicators and opportunity quality to generate insights for frontline teams and leadership.
• Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities using customer purchase patterns, Salesforce data and segmentation models.
• Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages for Sales Managers and Commercial leadership.
• Design and build intuitive dashboards in Power BI and Salesforce to track performance, KPIs, prioritized accounts and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as the power user for Salesforce.com within ASD, enhancing dashboards, reports and opportunity‑management tools.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Channel, Pricing and Segment teams to align insights and provide integrated recommendations.
• Partner with IT and CRM administrators to improve workflows, fields and automations that boost sales productivity.
• Deliver polished presentations to Sales Managers, Representatives and regional leaders.
• Support Sales Managers in developing action plans to improve win rates, reduce churn and strengthen customer penetration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics or a related role.
• At least three (3) years of experience using Salesforce.com for reporting, dashboards and opportunity management.
• At least three (3) years of experience using Power BI for data visualization.
