About the role
Our client in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support trucking and commercial operations in Houston. The role focuses on onboarding customers, managing compliance, and growing client relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate customer onboarding and trucking setup, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Partner with operations, engineering, accounting, and business development teams to align initiatives.
- Support account management efforts to increase trucked volumes.
- Assist with pricing support, proposal preparation, and contract coordination.
- Track market activity and help identify business development opportunities.
- Attend client meetings and industry networking events as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in oil & gas, midstream, or industrial environments preferred.
- Experience supporting customer accounts, operations, or business development teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Comfortable working with internal systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
