Bilingual Legal Assistant (English/Spanish) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a passionate bilingual (English–Spanish) Legal Assistant to join a reputable U.S. law firm on a remote, independent‑contractor basis. You will support attorneys throughout case lifecycles, ensuring clients receive attentive, organized, and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Review new cases and conduct detailed intake assessments.
• Assist attorneys with strategy planning and case preparation.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date case files and documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating communication.
• Coordinate with external professionals when required.
• Perform legal research and draft basic documents.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the legal team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a legal assistant.
• Familiarity with legal processes, terminology, and documentation.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing own schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
