Automotive Service Manager

About the role

Stateline CDJR is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead its busy service department in Fort Mill, SC. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving profitability and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing service team of technicians, advisors, and support staff.
• Manage shop flow, upsell opportunities, and department profitability.
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics such as CSI, RO count, and hours per RO.
• Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines and dealership policies.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer‑first service.
• Collaborate with Fixed Ops and Sales to achieve dealership‑wide goals.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of automotive service management experience (Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager).
• Proven ability to meet performance targets and develop staff.
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
