Audit Manager

About the role

GMP Advisors is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead client engagements across a diverse portfolio that includes Oil & Gas, Construction, Government, and other industries. You will manage relationships, supervise engagement teams, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality audit work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness across all audit engagements.
• Review junior staff work and prepare complex sections of audit files.
• Set a positive culture, mentor team members, and support their career development.
• Deliver quality client service aligned with GMP’s values to build client loyalty.
• Utilize CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, DataSnipper, and other tools to manage workflow, documentation, and audit evidence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA license or actively pursuing licensure and eligible to sit.
• 6+ years of increasing responsibility in public accounting with a focus on audit.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
