Associate – Real Assets Private Markets – Co‑investment & Fund Due Diligence

About the role
We are seeking an Associate to support the Wealth Management Real Assets Private Markets team in sourcing, underwriting and monitoring infrastructure and real‑estate co‑investments. The role involves detailed financial analysis, due‑diligence coordination and portfolio oversight within a GP‑first investment approach.
Key responsibilities
- Support evaluation and execution of infrastructure and real‑estate transactions, including GP‑first underwriting and validation of deal points.
- Develop detailed financial models and underwriting analyses (asset‑ and project‑level DCFs, capital‑structure, scenario and sensitivity assessments, returns attribution).
- Coordinate multidisciplinary due‑diligence streams (commercial, legal, technical, tax) and draft Investment Committee materials.
- Monitor portfolio performance, review GP and asset‑manager reports, and engage with sponsors on value‑creation initiatives and exit planning.
- Maintain and enhance portfolio monitoring tools, risk dashboards and valuation commentary.
- Support governance processes and internal approvals for material portfolio actions.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and/or real‑estate investing with ability to underwrite cash‑flowing assets.
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, real‑estate or private‑equity investments, including direct investments, secondaries, co‑investments or investment banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, real assets or quantitative fields.
- Demonstrated judgment, integrity and a risk‑aware mindset in a controlled approval environment.
Required skills
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation (DCF, scenario/sensitivity analysis, capital‑structure modeling, secondaries analytics).
- Knowledge of real‑asset specific diligence considerations (e.g., contract structures, inflation linkage, NOI build, lease roll, cap rates).
- Strong transaction management and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for Investment Committee materials and portfolio updates.
