About the role

Tarleton State University seeks an Assistant Professor on a tenure‑track appointment in Real Estate within the Department of Accounting, Finance & Economics. This 9‑month faculty position is based on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas, and offers the chance to contribute to teaching, research, and service in a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate, finance, and related subjects.
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda leading to scholarly publications.
• Participate in departmental service, including curriculum development and student advising.
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) as required.
• Potentially teach at other Tarleton campuses or through approved online modalities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or ABD in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated potential for high‑quality research and scholarly output.
• Experience teaching at the university level or a strong commitment to effective pedagogy.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment.
