Assistant Community Manager – Signature

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager – Signature will support the Community Manager at the Sugarloaf Signature community, a stabilized garden‑style property with 268 units in Duluth, Georgia. This full‑time position focuses on the financial and operational aspects of the community, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in daily financial and operational tasks.
• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments, and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Process invoices, perform account reconciliations, and assist with month‑end close‑out.
• Maintain accurate rent roll and fee records.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and variance analysis for the community.
• Utilise property management software to record, track, and report all financial transactions.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for invoice processing and payment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
