About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to lead gas leak survey field crews in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role you will ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution of utility projects while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage field crews conducting gas leak surveys across the assigned area.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, on schedule, and meets regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with utility clients to address operational issues and scheduling.
• Promote a culture of safety, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance of field personnel.
• Control labor and operational expenses and utilize operational data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing field operations or similar environments.
• Proven track record in customer‑facing, safety‑critical operations.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
